Bush Walking

The Warby Range State Park and nearby Alpine National Park offer wonderful opportunities to experience the outdoors. There are a number of walking tracks marked in these areas of varying grades of difficulty which will take you through some breathtaking natural scenery, flora and fauna. In particular, Mt Glenrowan affords spectacular views of the King and Ovens Valleys and across to the Victorian Alps.

You can access the Alpine National Park via the King Valley and the Wabonga Plateau. Be sure to tell someone where you are heading and what time you expect to be back. For more information on these areas, call the Wangaratta Visitor Centre on 1800 801 065 or log onto www.parkweb.vic.gov.au
