Jazz Festival Accommodation
Accommodation in Wangaratta does tend to book from year to year. However, you might get lucky and get a room in town if there has been a cancellation.
There are some great accommodation options, including bed & breakfast and self contained houses located in the picturesque King Valley only 50km away from Wangaratta. Take the opportunity to explore the area's wonderful food and wine whilst also enjoying the festival.

Tent City
This year there will be a "Tent City" set up in the Wangaratta Showgrounds. Stay for 3 nights in a luxury twin share tent (bed, mattress, chair, floor, light). All you need to do is bring yourselves, a sleeping bag (linen) and pillow. Until 30th September tents are $150 (for 3 nights - great value!). After earlybird prices end on 30th September tents will be $250 for the nights. So book now! You must purchase a 3 day festival pass to be eligible to book a Tent.
Homestay
Book a room in a locals house and enjoy being in the city of Jazz. Cost is $35-$50 per person per night including breakfast. Hallstay @ School
Budget accommodation in the local Wangaratta High School - Tech Hall (Greta Rd). BYO linen, blankets or sleeping bags and they will provide showers & toilets. Cost is $20 per person per night. For bookings please phone Sue Thomas 03 5723 1333.
