The Wangaratta Childrens Garden at Mitchell Avenue Reserve was developed at part of the Mitchell Avenue Reserve Master Plan Development.

The garden focuses on several key elements, including sensory experiences, natural elements sympathetic to the existing vegetation and creek, unique artistic elements, island feels, and the ability to play/hide within the gardens.
