EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
The Rural City of Wangaratta’s Economic Development & Tourism Team are responsible for coordinating the Visit Wangaratta Industry Familiarisation Tour Program. This initiative consists of four seasonal familiarisation tours across the region each year. These tours enable the staff, volunteers, local tourism operators and industry representatives to attend coordinated visits to tourism experiences within the Rural City of Wangaratta. The tours are designed to ensure that the tourism sector is well informed, up to date and best positioned to promote quality tourism experiences to our visitors. Businesses who are open to participating in the initiative are helping to build strong relationships with tourism sector staff who can then match relevant customers to their business.
